Ferrovalle Tour, June 6, 2012

As part of the Expo Carga Conference and Trade Show, BHI's President Tom VanMouwerik toured the intermodal facility Ferrovalle, on the north side of Mexico City.

Intermodal transportation in Mexico has made major advancements in recent years, and Ferrovalle leading the way in excellence.  Below are some pictures of the Ferrovalle facility.  Inside, there is a Mexican Customs facility to clear merchandise.  We were told that it rarely takes longer than an hour to clear freight.  That alone is a major inticement to look into intermodal as a means of transportation into Mexico.
